The Elders Action Network (EAN) is a movement of vital elders, dedicated to growing in consciousness while actively addressing the demanding challenges facing our country and Earth.
The Empowered Elders Webinars , Workshops & Retreats cover the underlying principles and ideas of EAN and invites a shift from individual self to global self and from “ senior” to empowered Elder. The workshop uses the practices of the Work That Reconnects, Ageing to Sageing, Sacred Activism and more to help us explore together what it means to be an Elder alive on Earth at this time.

We will deepen our awareness of the interconnection of the web of life and gain a greater understanding of the core environmental, social/economic, political and spiritual crises facing our world today. We will learn about opportunities on our community to take action for Earth and discover for ourselves how we can engage in positive change together.
The workshop provides a safe space for us to feel and express the pain we feel about what is happening in our world. Also a space for us to touch into our deep passion and love of life and where we can come to understand how we can be part of the solution. Come build a community of elders who connect deeply to one another and forge bonds for moving forward with action in the world as well as growing in consciousness.
This process is powerful as a webinar and the wonders of technology makes it available to participants from all around the World. It also can be experienced as a deeply moving and inspirational in person workshop or retreat. Purpose of the course:
To foster a movement of vital elders, dedicated to growing in consciousness / awareness while actively addressing the demanding challenges facing our country, our society, and Earth.
Transformational Intention of course:
The Course will create an environment in which elders engage in their own transformation in service of the transformation of our humanity, our earth, and our future. The course invites a shift in participants from individual self to global self, (ego system thinking to eco-system thinking) from inaction to action, from disempowered senior to empowered elder.

1. Being an Elder
- Moving from disempowered senior to empowered elder.
- EAN, vision, mission, Examples of positive roles and models for Elderhood.
- What it means to me to be an Elder.
- Growing awareness / consciousness of ourselves as part of larger living system.
- One Earth, One Humanity, One Future- Universe Story - mindfulness science
- How mindfulness/ consciousness/ awareness can support me and my work in the world.
- Growing in understanding of and ability to face the current crises in the world today.
- The environmental, socio-economic, and spiritual crises and divides.
- How facing the state of the world empowers me to act on behalf of earth.
- Shift from nothing I can do to changing my behaviors.
- New sustainable models of environmental, social and economic systems .
